want to get tuned?

Postby disaster646 on Tue Feb 02, 2010 3:40 am

i have stage 2 maps for 2007 sti, and stage 2 for 04 sti, and a stage 2 for a 07 wrx and 02-05 wrxs.. i also have a map for a stage 2.5 with launch control.for a 2002wrx.. (2.0 liter wrx with vf39 and pinks).. all this maps are base maps from the xpt store using open source..also if u got any check engine lights that want to check or clear up.. let me know. $50 dollars a tune.. hit me up if ur interested 9543949773 Jonathan

stage 2 for the stis are amazing.. the feel is great.. i dont really remember how slow my wrx was after i switched to stage 2.. but im sure its a big improvement.. i've been tuning more stis and my own hybrid motor. so im not used to the slow tdo4..lol.. but if u have one.. u probably feel the difference..lol

tuning a fully stock wrx.. not really.. .. a stock 02 wrx runs really rich.. u can like lean it out a bit and add some timing here and there.. but i would suggest a full exhaust and a drop in filter or.. intake.. .. and removing that catted stock uppipe... u dont wanna raise the boost if ur stil on the stock uppipe.. depending on ur mileage.. adding more boost could mess up this cat.. and ruin ur turbo... also im very familiar with the subaru engines.. ive built plenty.. if u got any mods or wanna change ur clutch..or transmission .. or engine swaps., pistons, timing belt.. swap turbos. injectors. etc.. just hit me up.. i complete all my side jobs in a single day.. unless its a blown motor.. or something major.. i got lots of air tools and jacks..lol.. o and (i dont work for a 6pack or a hand shake..lol)

i can tune it.. but ur gonna run out of fuel.. do u have a a/f wideband gauge? u can get sti injectors for about 200 on nasioc and a walbro new for around 90.. if u get both... i do have a nice tune for it.. it will be a day n night difference. thats how mine felt.. till u get tired and want more..lol

Yea man I know what you mean. I've been meaning to get my hands on the walbro fuel pump and injectors. About the a\f gauge I do not have ;{ nor the wideband. Will I be ok with injectors walbro fuel pump and the stock wrx intercooler?

yes u can use the stock intercooler.. the tune will have less timing.. meaning less power.. a stock intercooler is not a performance part.. u can get by with it.. but in the future i would get a sti intercooler.. or something bigger but top mount.. for a 2.0 liter and btw.. the a/f gauge is the same as (wideband..lol)

for a WRX not matter wat year 02-09 are top feed injectors not side feed. so if u find a 04-06 sti yellow side injectors they wont work unless u swap the tgv to side feed and fuel rails not worth it. pinks are top feeds.. .. and DONT get a manual boost controllers.. get a grimspeed 3 port boost controller.. they work the best with w/e set up u want to run and they are plug and play

this intercooler will fit.. but it will probably rub on the a/c lines.. and if u dont pay attention and let this happen for too long. then it will cause problems with those lines..and ruin ur a/c lines.. u will have to check the clearance or protect the a/c lines with a piece of sliced hose covering the metal lines.. also.. sometimes these intercoolers have problems in the blow off connection area.. its not flat or smooth enough.. creating boost leaks.. if ur gonna be on stock turbo or even a vf39 (sti) turbo.. i will just recommend a sti intercooler, u can find some for $250-300shipped.. they fit best.. and perform better than ebay topmounts.. or if u really want this huge intercooler u can just find CCS one.. they are pretty decent.. also im never on this forum anymore u can talk to me in NASIOC if u have more questions.. same user name..
