When did you start loving Subaru ? I started loving Subaru when i was a kid playing all those Colin McRae rally games and now i finally have the privilege of owning one. 2. What is your favorite Subaru Body ? My favorite is now the 08 STi. It has grown on me so much since it first came out and now i must get one. 3. What do you see yourself driving in ten years ? In ten years hopefully I'll still have a Suby. At least as a second car or strictly for auto x/rally. Can't Get Away From Ethanol .. |

I seem to can’t get away from ethanol and from all the negative effects of it:
1. The bad mileages (I have definitely noticed and proved about 4 mpg decreased!),
2. Low power although I’ve read that it does the opposite to turbocharged cars (I haven’t noticed the difference in my car)…and of course,
3. The corrosion in fuel system (in the long run)…although who knows what other bad additives are already in the regular gasoline sold by some gas stations. So far no one knows exactly how bad the corrosion is to the fuel system but it will cost some corrosion because ethanol has a tendency to pick up water whether from transportation process or storage. Well the other day a buddy of mine decided he wanted to get some practice before a big film competition we are entering. At first, we were just going to use some equipment and do some refreshers. Then this came along and in a matter of hours and some gas, this developed. Shot it in HD and for fun. iPhone friendly Hi-Res Video Here

This, of course, was the finale to the weekend long celebration of Colin McRae's life, which saw over 1,100 Scoobys converge on Prodrive's test track in Warwickshire. Precisely how many cars took part in the ensuing 30-mile convoy is unknown, but if you don't have anything better to do right now, you can have a go at counting them in the video after the jump (and look out for the near miss at 6:42). Two models are outlined in the release, the first, a new model dubbed the Impreza GT, will only be available with an automatic transmission and the 224 hp engine from the WRX. But that's not the real news...
The 2009 WRX's turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer will get a boost in output to 265 hp (41 hp more than the 2008 model) and will only be available with a manual gearbox. The '09 WRX will also feature an upgraded suspension (no details), an STI-style front grille, standard aero kit and a new grey wheel package, along with red stitching on the steering wheel and seats.
